ACCGS April Breakfast

Michael attended the ACCGS April Breakfast at the MassMutual Learning & Conference Center in Chicopee, MA.  The guest speaker was the Mass. Dept. of Transportation Secretary and CEO Richard Davey.   He spoke about the transportation and highway system in Massachusetts.  It was a very informative and interesting presentation.

Michael to Serve as Treasurer of the Gray House in Springfield

Michael was asked to serve as the treasurer for the board of directors at the Gray House and was honored to accept this position.  He hopes to help the organization by providing business insight and reviewing their financial operations.  Michael has also been active at the Gray House this year planning their first Murder Mystery fundraiser scheduled for Friday, May 11th.

The Gray House is a 501c3 non-profit organization that serves the north end of Springfield.  The organization is engaged withchildren in the community, providing after-school and summer programs for disadvantaged families. The Gray House also provides ESL classes, tutoring, and citizenship preparation for adults.

 

Feast in the East

Feast in the East

Michael attended the ACCGS Feast in the East.  Food was provided by many local restaurants including Pasquale’s Restaurant, Fazio’s Restaurant and Pizzeria, Frigo’s Foods, The Magic Spoon and Chez Josef.  Chez Josef won the Foodies of New England award for their cooking on Himalayan Salt Blocks.  While Pasquale’s Restaurant won the people’s choice award for their Chicken Francaise and Asparagus Cigar’s.
