North Central Connecticut Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting
Michael and Lindsey were pleased to attend the NCCCC Annual Meeting at the Holiday Inn of Enfield. Michael is currently serving on the board of directors as the past president. He is in photo 1 with Fran Walenta of Grampy’s Charities and in photo 2 with the entire 2016 board.
The Holiday Inn prepared a beautiful cocktail hour and dinner stations. The evening provided an opportunity for chamber members to network, learn about current chamber news, and celebrate member accomplishments.

We wish you a merry Christmas!
Did you know that the first Christmas cards were created in London in 1843? (shown to the right) Sir Henry Cole hired John Callcott Horsley to illustrate them. Two batches of 2,050 cards were printed and they sold for a shilling each. The sides of the card show scenes of charity and the center shows the extended family making a toast.
Our styles have changed since then, but our sentiments remain the same.
