Vote the Valley

Vote the Valley

voted-stickerThe Young Professional Society (YPS) of Springfield hosted their annual Vote the Valley event on Thursday evening. In an effort to promote voter attendance on election day, YPS provides this opportunity for young professionals, elected officials, and candidates to network.  Young professionals have a chance to talk with candidates in a social setting, learn about the candidates’ positions, and make their own voices heard.

Remember to get out and vote on Tuesday, November 8th!  Whether you’re left, right, or in the middle, every vote matters.

Memorial Day

Memorial-Day-Flag

On Memorial Day, we pause to remember the men and women who served our country and lost their lives.  We also give thanks to our veterans and active duty members for their service and defense of our freedom.  We raise our flag with pride and freedom because of their dedication.

“They fell, but o’er their glorious grave.

Floats free the banner of the cause they died to save.”

Francis Marion Crawford

This Memorial Day weekend, wave your American flags with pride and enjoy the company of your friends and family as you celebrate our nation’s heroes and pastimes.
